Orthopedic Surgery Nurse Practitioner (NP)

Job Description & Requirements Orthopedic Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP) – Locum Tenens Support (Start Date: ASAP, Availability: Day, 10; Weekend, On Call). Pay Rate: $106.70 – $115.50. This facility is seeking an Orthopedic Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP) for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 4–10 hour shifts per week (every other weekend). Possibility of occasional beeper calls for urgent cases. Practice Setting: Inpatient and outpatient. Type of cases: Spine orthopedic surgery cases. Credentialing timeframe: up to 90 days. Electronic Medical Record: EPIC (Health Connect – Kaiser Permanente’s version of EPIC). Certifications required: Board Certified, Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications. Nurse Practitioner must also hold First Assist Certification. Licensure: Must have an active California State license.
