We're hiring our very first Producer — the biggest opportunity anyone will ever get at this agency.

Handy-Goosehead has been Mississippi's most tenured Goosehead franchise since January 2021 — the model's proven, the book is built, the reputation is earned. Now it's time to build a team. Join at the ground floor with an owner who's already done the hard part, and grow with the business for the rest of your career. 

Insurance is a stable, recession-resistant industry that isn't going anywhere — and as our first hire, you'll help shape how we scale it.

What You'll Do

Build client relationships, write new business, and grow renewals — with a proven playbook and full training behind you, not a sink-or-swim start.

What's In It For You

• Uncapped 50% commission on new business and 10% on renewals, backed by a $3,000/month safety net salary until your commissions overtake it

• $500 bonus for completing training (around week 14)

• Uncapped ramp-up bonuses in Year 1 — hit your targets for 10%, double them for 20%

• 4% annual bonus on gross new business commissions, paid every December

• $200/month health insurance stipend (grows with tenure), $100/month marketing allowance from day one, and paid vacation starting after 90 days

• All business expenses covered: licensing (no license? no problem, we cover the cost), training, travel/lodging for training in Westlake, TX, laptop, and equipment

• Eligible for Goosehead's annual President's Club incentive trip

• Renewal commissions step up an additional 2.5% for every 500 policies you have in force

• New business commissions step up an additional 5% for every $3,000 in new business revenue collected, starting month 13 (minimum $12,000 to qualify)

• Real growth path, with future flexibility (hybrid/remote potential) based on performance as we scale together.

Realistic 5-Year Earning Trajectory

Year 1: $40–48K | Year 2: $70–80K | Year 3: $102–115K | Year 4: $138–150K | Year 5: $183K+

These are floor expectations. We expect our top performers to blow past them.

What We Expect From You

• A great fit for our culture: someone who shows up early, stays late, and brings a high level of professionalism to everything they do

• Willingness to role-play and remain coachable

• Confidence in a public speaking setting

• A genuine sense of urgency — a “do it now” attitude

• Sells on value first, and is a great listener

• Determination to become, and remain, commissionable

• Dedication to perfecting the sales call and approach with referral partners (RPs)

• Diligence in notating every action taken inside Salesforce

Daily Benchmarks

Success isn't possible without hitting at least these habits and metrics:

• Maintain 20–30 active referral partners (RPs) “on red” at any given time

• 2.5+ hours of dedicated call time, or 50 heavily-notated RP calls / 2 leads

– Healthy metrics: 65% package rate, 65% bind rate, tracked against attempted package rate

• 3 in-person, heavily-notated RP visits completed daily
