MAZAK Laser Machine Operator

MAZAK Laser Operator – Day Shift AtWork Personnel is seeking an experienced MAZAK Laser Operator to set up, operate, and maintain MAZAK laser cutting machines to produce high-precision metal components. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and able to meet production goals in a fast-paced environment. Perks of the Role Full-time position Day Shift Monday – Friday 6am to 2:30pm $22/hour starting pay Weekly Pay Key Responsibilities Set up and operate MAZAK laser cutting machines Load and unload raw materials and finished parts Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and CAD drawings Select correct programs, tooling, and materials Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures) Maintain accurate production and quality records Perform routine maintenance and keep equipment clean Follow all safety and quality standards Work closely with supervisors, programmers, and quality teams Qualifications 2+ years of experience operating MAZAK laser machines (2D or 3D) Experience cutting steel, stainless steel, and aluminum Ability to read blueprints and measure tolerances accurately Basic knowledge of laser parameters (speed, power, focus) Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs #J-18808-Ljbffr AtWork Personnel
