Travel Electrophysiology Registered Nurse (EP RN)

We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Travel Electrophysiology Registered Nurse (EP RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with electrophysiologists and cardiology professionals to diagnose and treat complex cardiac arrhythmias. As a traveler, you will be expected to integrate seamlessly into a fast-paced environment, providing top-tier pre-, intra-, and post-procedural care.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent electrophysiology experience; dual catheterization and electrophysiology experience is highly valued.
• Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arkansas or a valid Compact/Multistate license.
• Certifications: Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Travel Criteria: Must have a permanent address located over 50 miles away from the facility.

Safety Sensitive Designation

This position is deemed safety sensitive in accordance with Arkansas Act 593 governing Medical Marijuana.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job with or without an accommodation:

• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Capability to solve problems and make decisions efficiently.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and twist for 8 to 12 hours during shift(s).
• Occasionally require lifting of 50 pounds or more of equipment.
• Able to push a wheelchair with patient and equipment exceeding 150 pounds.
• Occasionally lifts patients with assistance, weighing 125 pounds or more.
• Spending over 8 hours in front of a computer or similar screen utilizing keyboard and/or mouse.
• Must be able to respond quickly in emergency situations, including CPR and obtaining necessary equipment.
• Ability to handle critical and high-stress situations with composure.
• Requires a keen sense of hearing and visual acuity to respond to changing patient conditions.
• Must be able to work regular assigned shifts and provide coverage as needed.

Work Environment

This position is primarily located in a hospital setting.
