Water/Wastewater Engineer

What You’ll Do: Assist Project Managers with engineering design for water and wastewater facilities requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to carry out engineering tasks Perform technical engineering work associated with water and wastewater engineering including:- Prepare engineering reports and feasibility studies- Prepare engineering-related calculations and visual aids- Develop hydraulic models and perform engineering analysis- Participate in field investigations- Prepare design drawings, plans, sections, details, and profiles/sections- Complete various permitting applications- Attend meetings with municipal officials, engineers, and contractors- Provide construction administration of water and wastewater projects- Some mentoring and delegation of work tasks to junior staff What You’ll Bring: Bachelor’s degree from an ABET‑accredited institution in Civil or Environmental Engineering with an emphasis in water/wastewater or other related field Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) preferred 3+ years of experience in water & wastewater or related civil engineering projects including design, analyses, and studies Proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is required Familiarity with computer models for hydraulic system analysis Must possess a valid driver’s license Salary Range: The starting salary for this position is $80,000, with final compensation determined based on qualifications, experience, and licensing status.
