RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform clerical duties as required to address the needs of the CCVSC. Answer telephone calls and emails as received; provide information to callers as required. Provide client referrals to CCVSC Veteran Service Officers for the evaluation and filing of claims to the Department of Veterans’ Affairs. Make appropriate client referrals to social workers and other helping organizations, such as Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing, Heating and Energy Assistance Program, food stamps, etc. Attend agency and divisional meetings, including all specified in-service education events. Greet all visitors. Assess the need and/or nature of each individual’s visit. Assign accordingly in eVetAssist. Process all bus ticket requests. Process furniture bank requests as required. Function as a screener, as needed. Note: Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned to this position at the discretion of the Executive Director.
