This role will help develop and manage Florida specific compliance best practices, policies, and programs to help ensure the department is following legislative and regulatory requirements regarding all activity as determined by the Compliance Department. This role will report to the Florida Regional Director of Compliance to ensure that Curaleaf is maintaining compliance in our initiatives and in the promotion of all Curaleaf and Curaleaf family of brands and products.What You'll Do:Communicate any exceptions or items of concern/caution to minimize risksFlag all issues of concern to Compliance leadership and lead the process of issue resolutionReview, monitor and reply to all marketing materials requests in a timely fashion, ensuring state specific information is identifiedFollow and enforce established review guidance in conjunction with state regulations and Compliance program and proceduresDevelop and report on metrics reflecting Key Productivity Indicators (KPIs) for state's reviewMaintain up-to-date knowledge and understanding of rules, regulations, and statutes in relation to marketing and advertising requirements and restrictionsWork closely with the Florida Regional Director of Compliance to thoroughly review policies, procedures, and best practices; and provide feedback and updates where necessaryAbide by all Company policies/procedures to ensure compliance with various regulatory and internal system requirements in relation to material reviewActively participate in team meetings, improvement initiatives/program, etc., to provide constructive recommendations to support Compliance Department initiatives/goalsConsistently demonstrate commitment to Company core valuesMaintain discretion with regard to the handling of sensitive information and requestsComplete special projects and miscellaneous assignments as requiredSubject to background check per state cannabis regulationWhat You'll Bring:Bachelor's Degree (B.A., or B.S..,) from an accredited college or a minimum of 2 successful years in a regulatory compliance focused roleAbility to interpret and execute various state and federal specific cannabis regulations as they apply to the company (HIPAA, FDA, etc.)Exemplary verbal/written communication skills required for multi-faceted interactions with all levels of personnel within the organizationAttention to detail, with ability to prioritizeTime management skillsFamiliarity with full Microsoft Office Suite (to include Teams, SharePoint; PowerApps knowledge is a plus)Location: FL (on-site / hybrid / travel required)What We Offer:Career Growth OpportunitiesCompetitive Pay and BenefitsGenerous PTO and Parental Leave401(K) Retirement PlanLife/ Disability InsuranceCommunity InvolvementReferral Bonuses and Product DiscountsBenefits vary by state, role type, and eligibility.Curaleaf is an equal opportunity employer.
