Schedule

7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, with flexible scheduling between day and night shifts.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients during labor and delivery, as well as managing antepartum and high-risk obstetrics. This role requires flexibility with scheduling and the ability to work alternating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Circulate C-sections and assist in vaginal deliveries.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and manage labor progress.
• Administer medications including magnesium sulfate and insulin drips.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide postpartum care and education to new mothers.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• At least 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
• Current BLS, ACLS, AWHONN, and NRP certifications.
• Ability to use Epic for charting purposes.
