Zing is seeking a high-impact Regional Sales Manager to lead and expand sales operations across Maryland, DC, and Virginia.

This is a player-coach leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth, developing high-performing sales teams, and expanding key customer relationships across fire protection, life safety, and security solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop inside and outside sales teams
• Drive revenue growth across inspection services, security systems, and project sales
• Manage and expand key strategic accounts
• Conduct pipeline reviews, ride-alongs, and sales coaching sessions
• Develop regional sales strategies and forecasting initiatives
• Partner with operations and leadership on pricing and growth opportunities
• Increase customer retention, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities
• Utilize Salesforce, HubSpot, and CRM reporting tools to track performance and pipeline activity

Qualifications

Required

• 5+ years of sales management experience
• Proven track record of exceeding sales goals and growing teams
• Experience leading both inside and outside sales teams
• Experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar CRM platforms
• Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
• Ability to travel throughout the assigned region

Preferred

• Experience within fire protection, life safety, security, or related industries
• Experience selling project-based or construction-related services
• Familiarity with NFPA codes or inspection services
• Experience managing multi-branch or multi-brand sales teams
