Serve as the Lead EEO Specialist. Assists the EEO Deputy Director in administering EEO compliance and strategic programs. To qualify for Equal Employment Specialist your resume and supporting documentation must support: A. Creditable specialized experience includes: GS-13 Applying knowledge of Federal Equal Employment Opportunity concepts, principles, and legal requirements to address agency-wide issues. Identifying systemic Equal Employment Opportunity barriers through advanced analysis and translating findings into practical, actionable solutions. Advising managers on sensitive and complex Equal Employment Opportunity matters and helping incorporate Equal Employment Opportunity strategies into overall workforce management. Interpreting and developing Equal Employment Opportunity guidance and regulations and negotiating resolutions to unprecedented or challenging Equal Employment Opportunity problems. Time-in-grade applies to the promotion of current and former federal employees who hold or have held a permanent GS position in either the competitive or excepted service in the previous 52 weeks, including current employees applying under VEOA.
