Now Hiring: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for PRN for 15 hours/week! Sandstone Estates – Tucson, AZ Sandstone Estates is seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our interdisciplinary care team. This role offers the opportunity to support residents in improving functional independence and quality of life in a collaborative, resident-centered environment. Position Details: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Full-Time or Part-Time opportunities available Skilled Nursing / Long-Term Care setting Responsibilities: Assist in implementing treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist Provide therapeutic interventions to help residents improve daily living skills and functional mobility Document treatment sessions and resident progress in accordance with regulations Collaborate with the therapy team, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members Educate residents and families on adaptive techniques and equipment as directed Qualifications: Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Successful completion of the National Certification Examination for Occupational Therapy Assistants (NBCOT) Active Arizona Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license Experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Commitment to high-quality, resident-centered care What We Offer: Competitive pay Flexible scheduling Supportive and collaborative team environment Opportunity to make a meaningful difference in residents’ lives Sandstone of Estates is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
