About the Position

Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: November 16, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 1:1 patient ratio during days and nights; 36-hour orientation; float to Antepartum and other units as needed

Highlights:

• High-volume Level 4 Labor & Delivery unit with approximately 450 deliveries per month
• Epic charting system experience required
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• Serve diverse patient populations including neonates, adolescents, and adults
• Pre-approved time off available (two requests permitted)
• Parking options available with shuttle service and garage access

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
• Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and either AWHONN Advanced or NCC C-EFM
• Epic EMR experience required
• Proficiency in IV starts and Labor & Delivery clinical skills required
• Nursing education from ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Previous travel experience strongly preferred
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
• Two professional references required: at least one from a manager/director or formal supervisor; Charge RN acceptable for second reference
• Former facility employees must have been away for 6 months or more to be eligible

• Candidates within driving distance of Ohio must travel to an in-state fingerprinting location as soon as possible after booking
• Candidates located far from Ohio will receive a mailed fingerprinting packet requiring urgent completion
• Unresponsiveness or non-cooperation with credentialing may result in assignment cancellation
