Job Opportunity: Adult Neuropsychologist
Our organization, a prominent healthcare provider in central Ohio, is looking to add an Adult Neuropsychologist to our Department of Neurology in Columbus, Ohio. This is a fantastic chance to become part of a well-established neuropsychology team within our expanding Neuroscience Service Line.
The role will primarily be situated at our Grove City campus, conveniently located just 12 miles from downtown Columbus. This facility collaborates closely with clinics in neurology, psychiatry, and neurosurgery, fostering a cooperative environment for the advancement of neuroscience programs.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct outpatient neuropsychological evaluations.
- Engage in additional clinical services based on personal interests.
- Manage referrals from neurology, neurosurgery, and primary care, addressing a diverse patient population, including those with neurodegenerative disorders, stroke, traumatic brain injury (TBI), multiple sclerosis (MS), epilepsy, normal pressure hydrocephalus (NPH), tumors, and medically complex cases.
- Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or Neuropsychology from an APA-accredited or CPA-accredited institution.
- Completion of a two-year Neuropsychology fellowship or residency.
- Board certification in clinical neuropsychology or eligibility for certification through the American Board of Professional Psychology or the American Board of Professional Neuropsychology.
- Possession of an Ohio psychology license by the start date.
