Oakstone Academy School seeks a creative, energetic, and passionate individual for a Preschool teaching position with any of the following Ohio Department of Education licenses: Primary (P-5), Primary Intervention Specialist (P-5), or Early Childhood (P-3), for the 2026-27 school year.  This is a part-time or full-time teaching position offering an 185-day teaching contract.  This position offers a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits & retirement packages, and accrued sick and personal time off.

 

Oakstone Academy School is a private, chartered, not-for-profit school in central Ohio. It serves students from Pre-Kindergarten through High School and is located in Westerville, Ohio, just northeast of Columbus.

 

Certification/License:

• Primary (P-5), or
• Primary Intervention Specialist (P-5), or
• Early Childhood (P-3)
• CPR/First Aid Certification

 

  Job Description and Requirements:

• Co-Lead in a Preschool Classroom to promote Kindergarten readiness.
• Establish and maintain behavioral standards that foster student self-discipline and positive relationships among students.
• Design lessons that provide an opportunity for problem-solving, creativity, and communication skills concerning authentic, real-world problems for a diverse population of learners
• Strong Organizational Skills
• Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Utilizes technology to communicate with their students creatively
• Proven success in the classroom
• Strong Character
• Can work and succeed in a TEAM environment
• Encourages and maintains the involvement of parents and other community members in support of instruction and student engagement
• Performs other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

• Required Certification: Primary (P-5), or Primary Intervention Specialist (P-5) Licenses, or Early Childhood (P-3)
• Experience in Educational Technology
• Excellent oral and written communication and human relations skills
• Willing to teach in a team environment
