WOLCS Receptionist Sub

Job Details Location: Water of Life Christian School - Fontana, CA 92336 Position Type: Part Time Salary Range: $17.00 - $18.41 hourly (As-needed, Non-exempt) Responsibilities Substitute receptionist duties for Water of Life Christian School (Preschool - Middle School), assisting visitors and responding to phone, email, and face‑to‑face inquiries. Provide information about the organization to the general public, church attendees, members, clients, and vendors. Ensure security by announcing all guests, confirming vendor appointments, and issuing visitor name badges. Open and set up the front office each day. Write tardies and enter them into RenWeb. Caring for sick students. Support and promote interest in WOLCS/WOLCC. Provide support to the Office Manager and WOLCS Preschool and K‑8 Administration as needed. Coordinate substitutes and “safe person” information. Recruit and/or direct volunteers for WOLCS. Qualifications High School graduate or GED equivalent with coursework in general office practices such as typing, filing, accounting, and bookkeeping. Minimum of two (2) years professional experience in an administrative role. Proficiency in English and Spanish languages preferred. Strong oral and written communication skills and strong attention to detail. Knowledge of common office technology tools and software, including Microsoft Office (MS Office). Friendly, flexible, able to multitask, enjoys working with diverse people. Aspiring to be a Christian role model in accordance with 1 Timothy chapter 3. Maintain a consistent relationship with God, demonstrate a strong and growing walk with Christ and live a Biblical lifestyle honoring Christ. Commitment to the ideals, values, and mission of WOL.
