Bilingual Patient Account Representative Biller - Part Time

Part-Time Patient Account Representative / Medical Biller Join Our Team! We are seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Patient Account Representative (PAR)/Medical Biller to support our Business Office. This role is responsible for medical billing, accounts receivable, payment posting, claim follow-up, and providing excellent customer service to patients and insurance companies. Responsibilities: Submit and follow up on insurance claims. Research and resolve claim denials and billing issues. Post patient and insurance payments accurately. Manage accounts receivable and patient balances. Assist patients with billing questions and payment plans. Process secondary claims and maintain accurate account records. Communicate with insurance companies and internal staff to resolve billing concerns. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: Experience in medical billing, accounts receivable, or healthcare revenue cycle preferred. Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance billing. Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Experience with EMR/EHR systems and Microsoft Office is preferred. Education and Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Associates degree or technical school degree in medical billing, medical secretary or electronic medical records preferred 2 years of medical collections experience preferred Fluent in English and Spanish Knowledge of medical terminology Why Join Us?
