Iron Worker

Job Description

An employer in the Mehoopany, PA area is seeking an Iron Worker for a leading industrial manufacturing client. This individual will join an established crew working inside a high-volume plant environment, focusing primarily on structural steel installation and ironwork. The ideal candidate is an experienced ironworker first, with welding capabilities as a secondary skill, capable of reading drawings and executing installs safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on role requiring physical capability, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate closely with a skilled team on site.

Day-to-Day:

• Read and interpret blueprints and structural drawings

• Install and align structural steel components

• Perform bolting, fitting, and light welding

• Work alongside a crew of journeyman ironworkers

• Execute tasks primarily indoors within an industrial plant

• Report to site leadership and collaborate with team members

Skills and Requirements

• 5+ years of ironworker experience

• Certified welder (required on-site)

• Ability to read and interpret structural steel drawings

• Experience with structural steel installation, bolting, and fitting

• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly

• OSHA 10 Experience working in industrial plant environments
