Registered NurseThe competent Registered Nurse practices independently in a clinical setting, demonstrating awareness and comprehensive understanding of patient care. This role involves providing both routine and complex nursing care while focusing on long-range goals. The nurse must be adept at managing contingencies and effectively delegating tasks to other care providers.ResponsibilitiesDeliver nursing care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families according to practice level.Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for side effects and effectiveness based on established protocols.Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately.Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers, identifying resources as needed.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureBachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is preferred.One year of experience in the related nursing specialty is preferred.BLS certification required (AHA only).Must hold a valid RN License in the state of Texas or a compact license.ScheduleThis is a full-time position with multiple shifts available, allowing for flexibility in scheduling.Assignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
