Assistant Professor (Chs) - Diagnostic X-ray Medical PhysicistThe Department of Radiology invites applications for a Diagnostic X-ray Medical Physicist to join the Section of Clinical Imaging Physics, a joint section with the Department of Medical Physics. This Clinical Health Sciences (CHS) Track faculty position offers the opportunity to contribute to patient-centered clinical imaging, advance imaging quality and safety, and engage in education and mentorship within a highly collaborative academic medical center.The UW Departments of Radiology and Medical Physics are internationally recognized for their impact on the development, translation, and clinical practice of medical imaging. Medical physicists play a central role in delivering high-quality imaging care, supporting clinical innovation and quality improvement, educating trainees and providers, and ensuring excellence in safety, accreditation, and regulatory compliance.This is an onsite position, with clinical work performed at UW Health Hospitals and Clinics on the main campus and throughout the Madison, Wisconsin area.Applicants interested in pursuing an academic career will be considered for the title listed: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor on the Clinical Health Sciences (CHS) track. Must provide a valid driver's license. Employees may use their own transportation or receive approval for University Car Fleet usage.
