Shift: 12H Nights, 19:00:00-07:00:00, 6-9 weekend shifts in a 6 week schedule, May be asked to float into any other acuity level

Job Description:

The RN will work in a dynamic PCU/IMC float role, providing care to adult to geriatric patients across multiple specialties such as General, Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, and more. The RN must be flexible and willing to float within a 60-mile zone as required.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care according to the general principles of nursing.
• Titrate and manage cardiac drips, insulin, ativan, and heparin comfortably.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team for effective patient care.
• Adapt to different units within the hospital, including ICU and MS-Tele as needed.

Requirements:

• 2 years of PCU/IMC experience.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is preferred.
• Ability to manage and titrate various drips, including dopamine and dobutamine.
