Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Job Description

Job Summary:
Deliver high-quality telemetry nursing care to patients, closely monitoring cardiovascular status and responding to emergencies with precision. Ensure patient safety and comfort through expert assessment and intervention.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' cardiovascular condition continuously and accurately.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in compliance with protocols.
• Utilize telemetry equipment to monitor heart rhythms and detect abnormalities.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient information and clinical observations thoroughly and timely.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies, providing immediate life-saving interventions.

Qualifications:

• Valid and current RN license in the state of practice.
• Proven experience in telemetry or cardiovascular nursing preferred.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
• Strong assessment skills and ability to interpret cardiac rhythms accurately.
• Ability to work effectively during 7a-7:30p shifts and every other weekend or evening hours as scheduled.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
