Insurance Defense Attorney | Farmingdale, NY (Hybrid) – $170K

Location/Schedule: Farmingdale, NY (Hybrid)

Base Salary: $170K

Practice: Long Island insurance defense — general liability, construction, products, professional liability, and employment defense for carriers and corporate insureds.

Our client is a multi-office defense firm, 10+ locations, that has kept hiring through a flat market. The Farmingdale office is a real Long Island hub. Partners there are Super Lawyers in employment, construction, products, and professional liability defense. There is a Director of Training on staff, and business development is taught on purpose, including if you eventually leave.

What You’ll Actually Do:

• Defend general liability, construction, products, professional liability, and employment claims.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Draft motions and prepare cases for mediation and trial.
• Report to carriers on exposure and resolution.

Requirements:

• JD and active New York bar
• 3–7 years post-bar insurance defense or civil litigation — current Associate, Counsel, or Partner
• Depositions taken in the last 24 months
