Small Animal Associate Veterinarian
Our client is seeking a Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join an established companion animal practice focused on consistent clinical standards and thoughtful patient care. The successful veterinarian will manage a varied first-opinion caseload while having access to experienced colleagues and additional clinical input when more involved cases require discussion.
The position offers a good balance of independent case responsibility and professional support. It would suit a veterinarian who enjoys forming long-term client relationships, explaining treatment plans clearly and continuing to strengthen their clinical skills through structured education and mentorship.
Qualifications Needed:
- DVM degree from an accredited veterinary school
- Illinois veterinary licence in good standing, or eligibility to obtain
- Excellent interpersonal and client communication skills
- Commitment to evidence-based small animal medicine
- Collaborative attitude with an interest in ongoing professional development
