Job Details Job Location: Avondale, AZ - Avondale, AZ, AZ 85323 Position Type: Full-Time/Part-Time Salary Range: $20.00 - $20.00 Hourly Job Shift: Any Summary As an Unarmed Security Guard, you will be responsible for providing a visible security presence and maintaining a safe and secure environment within a government, corporate, retail, or commercial setting. This role requires professionalism, strong situational awareness, and excellent customer service skills. Primary responsibilities include conducting foot patrols, monitoring surveillance and alarm systems, controlling access and egress, observing and reporting suspicious activity, and responding appropriately to safety or security concerns. Officers are expected to complete accurate reports and maintain detailed logs in accordance with post orders and company policy. In addition to physical security duties, this position actively supports SSC's G.E.T. Principles - Greet, Engage, and Thank, ensuring a positive experience for customers, visitors, associates, and employees. Key Responsibilities Conduct routine and random security patrols on foot or by vehicle, as assigned Observe, report, and deter theft, misconduct, and suspicious behavior Monitor CCTV, alarms, and access control systems Control entry and exit points and verify authorized access Identify and address safety hazards or irregular conditions Respond to incidents and emergencies; notify law enforcement or emergency services as required Assist with basic first aid and emergency notifications Prepare detailed written reports on incidents, accidents, and suspicious activity Serve as a liaison with local law enforcement when necessary Maintain a clean, professional, and orderly post area at all times Customer Service & Engagement (G.E.T.
