Our client is seeking either an experienced Housekeeper or the right Domestic Couple to become part of a private household in Warwick, New York.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining a home to a high standard. The property consists of approximately ten acres in Warwick, New York and is home to a warm, friendly, and respectful family who values loyalty, trust, and longevity.

The family’s current couple has been with them for more than twenty six years and is retiring. The family is now seeking the right person or couple to step into this long term role.

Loyalty has always been important to this family, and they are looking for someone who values stability, consistency, and a long term relationship.

While the family’s preference is to hire an experienced Housekeeper, they are also open to considering the right Domestic Couple.

The Role

This is a hands on position focused on the overall care and presentation of the home and property. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, self directed, and enjoys becoming a trusted part of a household.

Housekeeper Responsibilities

• Professional housekeeping and daily household upkeep

• Laundry, ironing, and wardrobe care

• Changing linens and maintaining guest areas

• Household organization and inventory management

• Caring for two friendly German Shepherds, including walking, feeding, and grooming

• Light plant care

• Monitoring household supplies and shopping as needed

• Assisting with errands and household projects

• Helping maintain the overall rhythm and smooth operation of the home

Domestic Couple Option

For the right Domestic Couple, the housekeeping responsibilities would remain the primary focus of the role, while the husband would assist with:

• Grass cutting and lawn care

• Property maintenance and general repairs

• Outdoor projects

• Light gardening

• Seasonal property upkeep

• Assisting with caretaker responsibilities as needed

• General hands on support around the property

• Separate apartment available for the right candidate or couple

• Experience working in private homes

Compensation

Compensation package will be commensurate with experience. Housing may be available for the right candidate or couple.
