Bed Placement RN Coordinator

We are seeking a qualified Bed Placement RN Coordinator to join our team in the Admit / Transfer Center. This position requires a dedicated professional who will efficiently manage patient admissions and transfers, ensuring that all processes are conducted smoothly and in compliance with established protocols.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient bed placements and transfers within the facility.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure timely and effective patient admissions.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in the electronic health record.
• Work closely with different units to facilitate optimal patient care and resource management.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a house supervisor or in a transfer center.
• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Strong understanding of hospital systems and patient flow processes.
• Ability to work flexible shift lengths, including 10 or 12-hour shifts.
• Willingness to work every other weekend.
