Endoscopy Technician

Endoscopy TechnicianAs the Endoscopy Technician, you will work with the physician and RN during endoscopic procedures such as EGDs, colonoscopies, ERCP, making a direct impact on patient care at ProMedica.You will ensure proper supply and instrument management by checking the daily schedule for patients of all ages.You will maintain a sterile field and promptly address any breaks in sterile procedure during surgical procedures.The above summary is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by the positions. It should not be considered exhaustive.Requirements:Education: High School graduation or equivalentSkills: Must be able to understand directions and communicate and respond to inquiries. Must be able to move about the facility and between workstations. Must be able to tolerate frequent exposure to latex and latex products. Must be able to tolerate possible exposures to blood borne pathogens and body fluids. Must be able to differentiate between colors, work with video equipment, lasers and hazardous supplies and equipment, and operate patient care equipment.
