Job Overview UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion, Aurora – CO, Orthopedics Department. Location UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion, Aurora, CO Shift Nights Pay $40.86 – $63.33 per hour, depending on experience. Minimum Requirements Graduate of an accredited or state board‑approved Registered/Professional Nursing program; hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing within three years of assuming Charge RN position. State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). 1 year of nursing experience. BLS or CPR certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross, valid at start date and through 60 days of hire. Responsibilities Provides top‑of‑scope practice in direct patient care utilizing the nursing process. Values a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes. Prioritizes wellness, patient perspective, and evidence‑based practice. Models proficiency through precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth. Welcomes new knowledge in a fast‑paced, innovative clinical environment. Contributes to secure safety and quality at the point of care. Acute Care Responsibilities Direct care includes specialty Acute Care (Med‑Surg) units of moderate to high patient acuity. Applies AMSN’s core curriculum and specialty certification standards within evidence‑based care models for each unit.
