Assistant Stage Manager - “The Alligator Gospels”

Loose Cannon is currently hiring an Assistant Stage Manager for our Fall production of THE ALLIGATOR GOSPELS. RESPONSIBILITIES: The Assistant Stage Manager will work alongside the Stage Manager to provide a detailed account of rehearsals/tech/performances, set up and tear down rehearsal spaces, and help fulfill the creative vision of the project. ASM responsibilities may include: Taking rehearsal notes on blocking, scene changes, design/technical needs, actor absences and more Keeping the rehearsal room on time with breaks Communicating with cast on rehearsal location/time changes/calls Collaborating with design team during technical rehearsal on timing/calling of cues For this production, ASM will also run the sound board during tech/performances REHEARSAL SCHEDULE: Monday-Wednesday (6:30PM-10:00PM) and occasional Sundays (12:00PM-4:00PM) at a TBD rehearsal location. TECH SCHEDULE: Tech is Monday, November 16, 2026 through Wednesday, November 18, 2026 (10:00AM-10:00PM) at the Bramble Arts Loft in Andersonville. PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE: There are five (5) total performances in the Berry Blackbox of the Bramble Arts Loft November 19 @ 7:30PM November 20 @ 7:30PM November 21 @ 2:00PM November 21 @ 7:30PM November 22 @ 2:00PM STRIKE: Strike is mandatory for all cast and production team members. Strike will begin on-site immediately following our final performance on Sunday, November 22, and end once the stage is cleared and the space restored.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Excellent communication skills (both in-person and via email/text/phone call) A background in Stage Management (either educational or professional) Proficiency in software such as Google Drive (Docs, Sheets, Forms, etc.) and Microsoft Office (Word) Ability to work with new people and a willingness to grow with the team Applicants must be 18+ years old #J-18808-Ljbffr Loose Cannon
