Truck Driver CDL A

Overview Manufacturers Reserve Supply (MRS) is a distributor of building materials, located in Irvington, New Jersey. We are looking for a licensed CDL A driver to pick up and deliver products to vendors and customers in New Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania, New York, Connecticut, Northern Delaware and Maryland. Responsibilities Pick up or deliver building materials using our vehicles from the Irvington, NJ warehouse to vendors and/or customers. Maintain safe driving standards and comply with D.O.T. regulations. Perform daily vehicle inspections, maintain logs, and keep the truck clean and presentable. Communicate with customer yard staff and company dispatchers to confirm product delivery, inventory and safety. Ensure all required documents (medical card, D.O.T. items, etc.) are in your possession and up‑to‑date. Monitor and report any mechanical issues to your supervisor. Duties Exceptional driving to and from locations. Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure safe operating conditions. Keep truck appearance clean and advise of mechanical issues. Assist customer yard staff and dispatchers to confirm product delivery, inventory and safety. Requirements Current Class A CDL license (minimum 3 years). Current medical card. Flatbed experience preferred. High School Diploma or GED. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, sit for extended periods, and communicate effectively. Strong commitment to safety, quality and teamwork. Compensation $30.80 per hour with overtime paid at time and a half for hours over 8 in a day. Minimum 40 hours per week throughout the year. Benefits Free food and snacks.
