I&E Technician

Job Description As an I&E Technician at Solstice, you will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain instrumentation and electrical equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Your expertise will enhance productivity and support high-quality product delivery. You will report directly to the Instrument & Electrical Supervisor and work out of our Giesmar, LA location on an on‑site schedule. Key Responsibilities Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all instrument and electrical equipment in the plant. Complete all regulatory preventive maintenance in accordance with plant procedures. Contribute continuous improvement ideas within the I/E department. Leverage SAP knowledge (plus). Demonstrate good communication skills. Handle multiple tasks and collaborate effectively with other departments. Apply PLC and VFD experience (valued). Troubleshoot combustion chamber issues (plus). Qualifications YOU MUST HAVE Strong technical knowledge of instrument and electrical components and systems. Ability to troubleshoot and repair instrument and electrical equipment effectively. WE VALUE Associate degree in a related field. Experience with diagnostic tools and equipment. Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail. Compensation The annual base pay range for this position is $48.00 per hour.
