Structural Welder

Job Description

$160/day Per Diem

5/10s and an 8 through the end of November.

We are seeking experienced Structural Welders to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience welding and assembling structural steel components while maintaining a strong focus on quality, safety, and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Weld structural steel components using MIG/FCAW and/or SMAW (stick) processes
• Read and interpret structural drawings, weld symbols, and blueprints
• Fit, tack, and weld beams, columns, plates, braces, and other structural components
• Perform layout, measurement, and fabrication work as needed
• Use grinders, cutting torches, plasma cutters, and other fabrication equipment
• Inspect welds for quality and make necessary repairs
• Maintain proper weld sizes, alignment, and dimensional accuracy
• Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications

• Previous structural steel welding experience
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and weld symbols
• Proficiency with common welding and fabrication tools
• Ability to perform quality welds in various positions
• Experience with structural steel fabrication or erection preferred
• Welding certifications are a plus
• Ability to pass a weld test
• OSHA 10 certification is a plus
• Strong attendance and dependable work history
