About the Position

Job Title: Radiologic Technologist, CT Technologist Profession: Diagnostic Imaging Specialty: Radiologic Technologist, CT Technologist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday - Friday Hours per Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Current ARRT in Radiography Certifications: ARRT (CT, XR) Must-Have: Flu vaccine required. ARRT CT and XR certification required. Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. Ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's needs. Willingness to work with patients and employees of all cultural and religious backgrounds. Ability to perform within the prescribed limits of the Ethics and Compliance Program. Responsibility to detect, observe, and report compliance variances to the immediate supervisor. Adherence to the mission, vision, and key values of the organization. Description: Must provide radiographic examination of all body parts for diagnostic interpretation. Must exercise professional judgment in performance of procedures applying principles of radiation protection. Perform diagnostic medical radiography within the department and other areas. Maintain patient records and files. Assume responsibility for the departmental quality assurance program. Pursue continuing education. Transfer patients to and from radiology. Rotate shifts as required. Perform ancillary duties as requested by a supervisor. Follow policies and procedures set by administration. Assist in the general hygiene of the department and self. Should be able to work well in stressful situations. Must be willing to take call and report to work within 20 minutes. Able and willing to perform other duties as assigned.
