Base pay range $100,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr Director of Recruiting | Partner to Administrative, HR, Accounting & Finance Professionals Tax Accountant We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tax Accountant to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of public accounting experience, with a strong understanding of tax preparation, compliance, and planning. You will be responsible for managing a diverse client portfolio, preparing individual and corporate tax returns, and providing valuable tax advice to clients. Responsibilities: Preparation of all tax return types (i.e., personal, corporate, partnership, estate/trust, Gift, Not-for-profit, etc.) Preparation and review of corporate, S-corporation, partnership, and fiduciary returns Prepare Payroll and Sales tax returns Prepare reports and financial analysis for clients and Partners as needed Communicate progress of engagements, issues, and resolutions to clients through written and verbal correspondence Anticipate problem areas of engagement and develop procedures to address relevant issues; keep supervisors informed of important developments and recommend solutions Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required CPA or advanced certification in Tax Accounting preferred 4-6+ years of Tax Accounting/ Accounting firm experience Understanding of tax concepts related to individuals, C Corporations, S Corporations, Partnerships, estates, and trusts Strong technical skills in accounting and tax preparation of individual, partnership, and corporation returns; Fiduciary return preparation a plus Advanced knowledge of applicable tax codes and in changes to the tax code.
