2nd Shift - Inspection & Repair Operator

Volt is immediately hiring a 2nd Shift Inspector & Repair Operators in Austin, TX.

As an Inspector & Repair Operator, you will:

• Need to have SOLDERING EXPERIENCE.
• Perform a variety of component inspections and repairs on electronic assemblies/subassemblies.
• Sets up station with the correct process inspection documents, screens, and/or workflow instructions.
• Perform in process and online "go/no go" inspections of various types of electronics, subassemblies, peripherals or a larger assembly, identifying defects according to workmanship standards.
• Perform touch-up and repairs.
• Read and interpret the manufacturing process instructions, visual aids/drawings (e.g. microscope and magnifying lenses).
• Scan product and enter into the shop floor control system or manual tracking systems when applicable.
• Adjusts, trims or otherwise processes materials or components found on product in order to achieve specified electrical requirements or dimensional characteristics.
• Communicates any process problems with peers, supervisors/leads and/or manufacturing support.
• Documents workload, calculating the number of products inspected and rejected.
• Completes task schedule on time.

Schedule: Monday Friday - 3:00pm - 11:15pm

The ideal candidate will have:

• 1+ years of SOLDERING experience and successful completion of any related on-the-job training programs.
• Ability to communicate in English, skill written and verbal.
• Computer skills required.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions to complete tasks.
• Strong manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination: Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Must Pass Background and provide Valid forms of ID's for E-Verify Completion.

Pay Rate: $20.50 per hour + 10% Shift Premium

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
