Foster Care Visitation Monitor (Part-time)

Opportunity Highlights Job with purpose: help children and families find hope and healing Compensation: $18.00 per hour Benefits: paid time off (PTO) and participation in our 401k plan Mileage reimbursement included for business miles driven Part‑time: 10–15 hours per week, potentially up to 25 hours over time; hours scheduled 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Key Responsibilities Supervise visits between foster children and their birth families Provide transportation for foster children to appointments Ensure the visitation area is prepared for visits Document each visit and report any noteworthy concerns Communicate with social workers about the progress of visits, any concerns, or changes in the child or family's situation Perform a variety of office‑based administrative duties Provide additional in‑home behavioral support to youth and families in Koinonia's intensive services foster care (ISFC) program Qualifications At least 18 years of age Dependable and reliable Good driving record with a reliable personal vehicle Good references and ability to pass a criminal record background check Experience working with children and families preferred Excellent observational skills and ability to remain focused during visits Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to establish and maintain effective personal boundaries with children and families High degree of integrity and confidentiality Vehicle that safely accommodates a child car seat Licenses & Certifications California Driver License Class C Auto insurance TB clearance (pre‑employment) Background check clearance (California Department of Justice, FBI) Equal Opportunity Employer We are an equal–opportunity employer.
