Lead Installer (HVAC)

Position Summary The Lead Installer is responsible for completing a wide variety of tasks associated with quality installation of residential HVAC equipment. The Lead Installer will receive routed work from dispatch, report to the assigned job site on time, and perform work to the company’s quality expectations. All NHS installers will promote warranty products to Pivotal customers. This role requires a valid driver’s license to operate a company vehicle and must be refrigerant certified. The Lead Installer is always responsible for working and driving safely while maintaining residential HVAC equipment. Responsibilities Provide the customer with the highest levels of service at all times. Understand and comply with all safety policies, including monthly calibration of gas sensing tools. Install furnaces, condensers, humidifiers, and accessories with no assistance. Master electrical wiring for furnaces, condensers, and thermostats (high and low voltage). Comply with inventory policies and procedures, and account for all inventory used. Install sheet‑metal duct systems, connect gas lines, cut and thread pipe, and install copper refrigerant lines—including soldering and brazing—to air‑conditioning units. Complete all tasks sent, including billing customers correctly, ordering parts and materials, and handling paperwork properly, timely, and legibly. Use effective time management to minimize non‑productive time during weekly inventory restock and parts pick‑up. Apply analytical techniques to solve problems and diagnose equipment issues accurately. Maintain compliance with corporate and departmental policies and develop credibility with coworkers and leadership. Drive safety by submitting safety catches and maintaining PPE compliance. Achieve expected productivity, quality, and safety metrics as outlined by Netflix Hotel Services (NHS) Field Operations. Perform physical tasks such as climbing, working in extreme hot or cold outdoor conditions, heavy lifting, crawling into crawl spaces and attics, and using ladders. Lift and manipulate loads up to 50–60 lbs and work from heights as required. Education & Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience (required). HVAC certification or vocational/skill training experience in HVAC (in lieu of certification). Computer Skills Proficiency in Microsoft and Google Suites. Comfortable using iPad. Compensation Competitive base salary with a range of $32.24 to $47.50 per hour, depending on qualifications, experience, education, and skill set.
