Registered Nurse (RN)-Cath Lab

Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Reporting to the Director of Cardiac Services, the RN will perform initial assessment, collaborate with the physician and anesthesiologist, identify the need for further assessment, and cooperate in invasive diagnostic testing and procedures. Responsibilities Perform initial assessment appropriate to patient’s clinical presentation. Pre‑screen patient lab work, mobility, allergies, and medication history prior to invasive diagnostic testing/procedures. Notify physician if schedule invasive test or procedure is impacted by assessment. Document nursing interventions and patient teaching, and develop plan of discharge or transfer. Collaborate with anesthesiologist and specialist during procedures. Education & Training Requirements Current California RN license. BSN preferred. BLS and ACLS certifications (current). Five years of critical care experience (procedure experience preferred). Interventional Neurology and/or EP experience strongly preferred. Benefits Competitive compensation.
