Registered Nurse RN PACU

As a PACU Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in the immediate post-operative care of surgical patients. You will manage airway support, monitor neurological and cardiac status, respond to complications, provide initial wound care, and support patient stability during recovery. You will collaborate with the surgical and anesthesia team and be available on call during select non-business hours as discussed in the interview. What You Will Do In Your Role Care for and manage the surgical patient in the post-anesthesia period. Apply the nursing process, critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, technical skills, and leadership to independently deliver safe nursing care to patients. Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes. Provide communication, confidence, and professionalism as evidenced by active engagement in unit and organizational activities. Demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and serve as a resource to the patient care team. Maintain accountability for delivering quality nursing care services and promoting a positive image of nursing. What qualifications you will need Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing is required. BSN is preferred. Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date). Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification are required. 1 year of PACU clinical experience as a licensed RN required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
