Maintenance Technician

Maintenance TechnicianMonday-Friday weekly schedule. Day Shift hours. Maybe asked to be available after hours or other days when needed.To be filled immediately.We are looking for a responsible maintenance coordinator to maintain our facilities and provide a safe environment at our Jacksonville campus. The ideal candidate will be experienced in general maintenance knowledge and is personable with staff, volunteers, vendors and members. They will need to have physical endurance to cover a large space. A keen eye for detail and high standard of excellence is expected.Essential Core Responsibilities:Responsible for the overall upkeep of two buildings, grounds and church vehicles. Ensure optimal condition of all areas and assets.Will coordinate and oversee vendors hired to perform other services beyond the scope of general maintenance.Will coordinate, supervise and manage facility volunteers.Ensure organization is up-to-date with fire and safety inspections.Perform monthly inspections/maintenance of HVAC systems.Will assist custodial team on occasion to prepare spaces for meetings, events and more.Daily meetings and check-ins with managementQualifications:Able to work independently within a team environment.Knowledge of HVAC systemsMust be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and climb laddersMust be able to pass a background checkValid driver's licenseOperate large vehicles/trailers/equipmentExperience:5-10 years of practical experience maintaining properties5 years or more supervision experienceSchedule:Monday-FridayFull-time HoursDay shift5 days: 8-hour shiftsAfter hours or weekends when neededBenefits :Paid-Time OffHolidaysShort-term DisabilityLife InsuranceAccidental Death & DismembermentOptional Benefits:Health InsuranceDental and/or Vision InsuranceRetirement 403 (b): Match up to 3%AflacLegalShieldCome join our amazing team here at Catalyst!
