Experienced Pharmacy Technician Contract Job

We're hiring an experienced pharmacy technician for a contract job where your expertise will directly support pharmacists in delivering exceptional care. In this position, you will play a vital part in ensuring patients receive the medications they need by assembling, stocking, and distributing them with precision and care.

Minimum requirements include:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of hospital pharmacy experience required.
• Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician registration required.
• National Pharmacy Technician certification required (CPhT or ExCPT).
• Experience with Epic and Omnicell preferred.
• Previous hospital-related experience, formal training, or graduation from a pharmacy technician training program desired.
• Ability to perform intermediate mathematical calculations for medication preparation.
• Knowledge of state and federal controlled substance regulations.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Prior experience with robotics, automation, and pharmacy information systems preferred.
• Experience preparing sterile IV compounds and following sterile compounding procedures preferred.

Assignment details include:

• Shift hours: 06:00-14:30.
• Rotating shifts required.
• Work setting: Inpatient hospital pharmacy responsibilities, including filling automated dispensing cabinets and central pharmacy tasks.
