We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our growing Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) team. If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of medically complex children and their families, we'd love to hear from you!
Position Summary
As a Pediatric Nurse in our PPEC center, you will provide skilled nursing care to children with specialized medical needs in a supportive, family-centered environment. You will work alongside an interdisciplinary team committed to helping children thrive while receiving high-quality medical care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and document patient health status.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and caregivers.
- Respond to changes in patient condition.
- Maintain accurate medical records and compliance standards.
- Support a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children.
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Pediatric nursing experience preferred.
- Experience with tracheostomy, ventilator, and G-tube care is a must.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care.
Schedule
- Full-Time | Part-time | Per Diem
- weekends are a must and non-negotiable
- weekend warrior
