Work Environment\n

This role is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility while delivering high-quality telehealth services to our clients. You will engage with patients through secure virtual platforms, ensuring accessibility and comfort during therapy sessions. While the core work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, there may be opportunities for flexible scheduling based on patient requirements. Compensation ranges from USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, plus a sign-on bonus to welcome you to our team.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' trauma histories and tailor appropriate treatment strategies.

• Develop, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, resilience building, and improving overall mental health outcomes.

• Deliver a variety of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions designed to help patients explore their trauma, develop coping mechanisms, and build resilience.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other health professionals to create integrated care plans for each patient, ensuring comprehensive support.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention services to patients in urgent need, drawing on trained techniques to manage trauma-related emergencies effectively.

• Engage in educational initiatives for patients and their families regarding trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources for support.
\n
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and interactions in compliance with HIPAA and other legal/ethical standards.

• Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings to enhance collaborative care and share outcomes and insights.

• Continuously engage in professional development activities to remain updated on cutting-edge research and methodologies in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on patients who have experienced various forms of trauma, including those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and related conditions. By creating a safe space, you will enable clients to confront and process their experiences, empower them with coping tools, and guide them on their journey toward recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid state licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW is mandatory.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience working with trauma-exposed populations is preferred.

• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and effective treatment modalities.

• Proficiency in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic techniques.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, embodying a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• Ability to maintain composure during high-stress situations and effectively manage crises.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and case management.
