Start your new career as a QuickBooks Bookkeeper with MAU at a local employer in Pelzer, SC. As a QuickBooks Bookkeeper, you'll support daily accounting operations and keep financial records accurate, using QuickBooks to manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations.

- Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on experience
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Temp-to-hire opportunity: eligible for hire after 520 hours, based on client needs
- Bookkeeping, accounting, or accounts payable/receivable experience preferred
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks (required)
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial recordkeeping
- Proficiency in data entry, Microsoft Office, and general computer applications
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to spot discrepancies, resolve routine issues, and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Discretion when handling sensitive financial information
- Maintain accurate financial records and handle routine bookkeeping duties
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including invoices, payments, and expense records
- Prepare, review, and reconcile invoices, receipts, and vendor statements
- Enter financial transactions, journal entries, and other accounting information into QuickBooks
- Monitor customer accounts, track payments, and help resolve billing discrepancies
- Maintain vendor records and communicate with vendors about invoices, payments, and account discrepancies
- Assist with bank account and credit card reconciliations
- Keep financial documentation organized, complete, and accurate
- Assist with financial reports, account balancing, and month-end closing activities
- Handle confidential financial information professionally
- Provide general administrative support to the accounting team as needed
