As a Speech Language Pathologist, you’ll support elementary and secondary students in reaching their full communication potential while enjoying the support of a collaborative educational team.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active SLP license/certification in New Mexico
• Current or eligible Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
• Experience working in school settings, with both elementary and secondary age groups preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Dedication to working collaboratively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services to students in both elementary and secondary grades
• Evaluate, diagnose, and provide comprehensive treatment for a diverse caseload
• Work closely with educators, staff, and families to develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and set measurable goals
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in eligibility and IEP meetings
• Provide recommendations and resources for classroom strategies and accommodations
• Stay current on evidence-based practices and developments in speech-language pathology
• Foster a positive, supportive learning environment for all students
