Weekends and On call(if any) - Call Assistance and holiday Call assistance

Skill Set Most recruited for:
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
· Open Heart
· Cardiothoracic service line
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
· Other service lines (Trauma, Gen, Gyn, Uro, Ortho, Neuro, Plastics etc) Staff will be floated to other ORs when no open hearts scheduled
·
List typical procedures performed on unit( s):
· CABG (with and without EVH)
· Impellas, Pericardial windows, Valve replacements, ECMO
Best personality Fit:
· Dependability and flexibility
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
· BLS, ACLS

· Number of Beds – 457 beds; 14 ORs (1 Open Heart Room; In process of coordinating for 2 Open Hearts)
· Number of Staff – 8 staff members (4 RNs, 4 Techs)
· Type of staff:
o Day Shift – 7a-3p with call coverage after 3p and weekend call
o Night Shift – Call coverage
· Patient Ratios – 1:1
· Type of equipment – Standard OR equipment
· EMR - Meditech
