Join our Lancaster office as a Dental Assistant supporting general dentistry under the direction of the lead dentist. This role combines primarily chairside assisting with balanced administrative responsibilities in a collaborative team environment. The schedule is Monday 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Tuesday 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Wednesday 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., and Thursday 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Compensation is $20–$24 per hour, depending on experience. Benefits include a Simple IRA after one year of service, paid vacation after one year, and paid holidays. Cross-training in front-office operations is available for professional growth.

 

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance during general dentistry procedures.
• Prepare patients for treatment and support a positive care experience.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection-control standards.
• Set up and break down treatment trays.
• Educate patients on care instructions and treatment-related information.
• Complete clinical documentation and dental charting.
• Coordinate appointments and support administrative workflow.
• Manage clinical supplies and assist with inventory needs.

 

Required Qualifications

• At least one year of dental assisting experience.
• Knowledge of instrument sterilization and infection control.
• Experience with dental charting.
• Strong patient communication skills.
