Join Our Team at CrossTimbers Nursing and Rehabilitation! We’re looking for a Full-Time Dietary Cook to help prepare nutritious, delicious meals for our residents. If you’re dependable, team-oriented, and passionate about caring for others through great food, we’d love to have you on our team! Full-time position with a varying schedule — days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. About Us At CrossTimbers Nursing and Rehabilitation , we are dedicated to providing nutritious, high-quality meals and compassionate care to our residents. Our dietary team plays a vital role in supporting the health and well‑being of everyone we serve. We’re currently seeking a dependable and experienced Dietary Cook to join our kitchen team and make a difference each day. Responsibilities Prepare and cook meals according to daily menus and residents’ dietary needs Follow portion control, sanitation, and safety standards Assist with meal service and ensure food is served at proper temperature and quality Work with the Dietary Manager to accommodate special diets and preferences Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment Assist with inventory, restocking, and food storage as needed Requirements Previous cooking experience (healthcare or senior living setting preferred) Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and special diets ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain) Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods Schedule Full-time (40 hours per week) Varying schedule: Days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Benefits Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Supportive, team-oriented environment Opportunities for growth and advancement #J-18808-Ljbffr
