Intensive Home-Based Treatment Clinical Therapist

This role is not for everyone, it takes a special kind of person to do this work well. As an Intensive Home-Based Treatment (IHBT) Clinical Therapist, you will provide direct, hands-on support to children and their families in the environments where life actually happens. Your presence in a family's home, school, or community can have a powerful and lasting impact, helping stabilize situations, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful change.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide intensive, in-home therapeutic services to children and adolescents with behavioral and emotional needs
  • Work collaboratively with families to build trust, improve communication, and develop effective coping strategies
  • Deliver services in a variety of settings, including client homes, schools, and community locations
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs
  • Coordinate care with schools, case managers, and other service providers
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with agency and regulatory standards
  • Respond to crisis situations with professionalism and sound clinical judgment
Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
  • Active licensure required, LSW, LPC, LISW, or LPCC
  • Experience working with children and families preferred
  • Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to making a difference in the community
