This role supports the production team by assisting with assembly tasks, preparing materials, and handling products throughout the manufacturing process. You will help keep production lines running efficiently, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and follow safety guidelines while moving and lifting materials and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Assist assemblers with day-to-day production and assembly tasks.
- Prepare materials and components required for the production process.
- Monitor production lines to support efficient and consistent output.
- Handle materials and support logistics within the facility.
- Load and unload incoming materials and outgoing finished products.
- Move materials and finished products between storage and production areas.
- Pack finished products securely and accurately for shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and clutter-free workspace.
- Clean and lubricate equipment as needed to support smooth operation.
- Move or lift heavy objects in accordance with safety guidelines and procedures.
- Use basic hand tools safely and correctly during assembly and material handling tasks.
Essential Skills
- Some type of industrial experience in a production, assembly, or general labor environment.
- Ability to use basic hand tools safely and effectively.
- Capability to move and lift heavy objects while following safety guidelines.
- Reliable attendance for a weekend schedule of 12-hour shifts.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production setting and follow instructions accurately.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new tasks.
- Friendly and cooperative approach when working with others.
- Coachable mindset with openness to feedback and training.
- Comfort working in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- ESL is acceptable; ability to understand and follow safety and work instructions.

Work Environment
The role is based in a clean, bright, and well-lit shop environment. You will work around production lines, materials handling areas, and basic equipment that requires routine cleaning and lubrication. The schedule consists of 12-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. both days. There is currently no make-up time available during the week. If hired directly, there are no benefits, paid time off, or holiday pay associated with this position at this time. The work involves standing for extended periods, moving materials between storage and production areas, and lifting heavier items while following safety procedures.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Farmington, CT.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $33.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
